Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a licensed teacher for grades 7-9 in Math/Natural Science. At Elinelundsskolan, you will be offered a developing assignment where you are part of the process of creating a well-functioning F-9 school together with the school management and student health team. Your assignment also includes mentorship. In your role as a mentor, you have a specific responsibility for a group of students, allowing you to closely follow their knowledge development and personal growth. As a mentor, you will inform and keep the student's guardians updated on their knowledge development and regular development discussions.

Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with qualifications for teaching grades 7-9. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider it an advantage. You have a good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. We are looking for someone who is a skilled leader in working with students and has the ability to create a good learning environment. You possess good pedagogical and didactic skills. You are independent and lead yourself to development by analyzing and reflecting on your own teaching.

You always start from the student's needs and strive for increased goal achievement. In your work, you use proven experience and a scientific approach. To fit in at Elinelundsskolan, you should be good at creating positive and sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We especially value your ability to work with colleagues to find solutions to complex problems.

About the Workplace

The newly built school is located in a developing new district in the southern parts of Malmö, an area situated between Limhamn and Hyllie. Elinelundsskolan has an exciting location with a nature-friendly setting next to the large limestone quarry, and the learning environments create very good conditions for teaching and learning. We offer a new and beautiful building with spacious modern facilities. The school has staff rooms and group rooms for all home classrooms. The school is located in beautiful surroundings at the edge of Limhamn's limestone quarry with a lovely view of the Öresund Bridge and Elinelundsgården and its park just behind. In the school year 2025/2026, Elinelundsskolan will accommodate around 740 students in grades F-9. The goal for the operation is Every Student's Best School, which we work on by finding strategies for each student and strengthening them in both knowledge development and personal growth, in school and in after-school care. At our new school, we work towards a common understanding in all our processes with a focus on classroom leadership, co-planning, and co-assessment. We see that you have experience working with language development and that you have a wide repertoire of methods to reach students in your subjects. To create a holistic approach for the student, you will be part of a driven subject team that is well established, where you develop together, so it is important that you enjoy being with us and that you have a good time with your colleagues.
